The principal organization for international central bank cooperation


Contexte

This bank is an international organization which fosters international monetary and financial cooperation and serves as a bank for central banks.

This organization fulfils this mandate by acting as:

  • a forum to promote discussion and policy analysis among central banks and within the international financial community
  • a centre for economic and monetary research
  • a prime counterparty for central banks in their financial transactions
  • agents or trustees in connection with international financial operations

 

The customers's objectives were to find a solution enabling to manage all of its documentation. This organization was looking for a solution for replacing old customized Webtop and able to meet all ECM requirements with:

 

  • a stable and highly performing ECM Documentum platform enabling multi-users from various locations, a simultaneous access.
  • a solution offering a dynamic browsing, based on properties
  • An Office©/Documentum properties synchronization capability

 

Solution

Among C6's software suite, D2 and O2 have been chosen to answer those various ECM needs thanks to :

 

  • The auto-link/auto-naming functionality used to create properties based navigation
  • The O2 Office© and Documentum properties synchronization
  • The D2 client (user interface) configurable interface with the menu , toolbar and skin editor
  • The D2/xPlore new integration and the capability to use the "facets functionalities" directly from D2
  • The import/export configuration functionality
