A European Administration
Context
The « Centre des technologies de l'information de l'Etat (CTIE) » provides the organisational support and multiple informatics services for all ministers and public administrations of this European state.
- Despite contexts and processes relatively different, each administration has various expectations in terms of document management: mails management, diffusion of folders to other ministers, etc...
- D2 was selected following a demonstration and then validated during a functional prototype. It is replacing a previous version of an EDM project, based on specific development.
Solution
Our client has opted for D2 to implement a platform that includes the basic features such as the register mail, the documents flow (the workflow acquisition, validation, transfer, signature…). This platform is unified, but not standardized.
- D2 makes easier the deployment within the hundred of concerned organizations and ministers, by configuring the features of this platform for each context: classification plan, security rules, etc.
- The ability to delegate some administration tasks (models update, users profile set up, maintenance of listing reference) to “locals” administrators, without relying on the IT department is a major advantage.
This client has particularly appreciated the rapid implementation and deployment of this configurable solution.
