D2 user interface offers a thumbnail view mode leveraging Docbase navigation. This navigation mode enables document consultation and viewing in the      browser, excluding external application. Save time within the preview and access to the content of your document simultaneously!

Because business needs differ depending to the various entities of the same company, D2 configuration allows you to modify your graphical user interface and the navigation elements as well.  According your expectations, configure the various modules needed: the menu, the toolbar, the display filters, the skin, the tree.

By combining these modules to user groups you benefit from a customized interface based on your group membership.

Through the skin editor you can  modify, the colour and dialog box shape as well as selections. It is also possible, to add pictures on the frame of main interface.

 

A treeview editor also offers the capability to customize the display of your Docbase tree node in accordance with your needs. Thus, modify the default labels of your Docbase treeview for the different users groups.

 

Easy navigation

D2 manages inter-documents links to make easier the navigation into the DocBase. Referenced documents are then viewable by a simple click and so in a minimum of time!

 

Various search tips

From full text to advanced search, D2 offers the ability to create your queries combining operators, documents properties and keywords.

Save and store your search results or queries in order to put them at the end users' disposal. Various options are available to you to set-up access restrictions on these searches. An interface enables to create private or public requests or save them, in a simple way.

With an additional benefit, the audit function "passive" allows you to track events occurred on your documents, underwriting subscriptions based on your needs.

A uniqueness check feature enables you to apply within the configuration interface restrictions on your documents' creation and edition to guaranty the documents' uniqueness in your Docbase. Therefore, avoid multiple inputs of your document properties and ensure that your document is the only one in the Docbase.

D2 uses Documentum platform to manage documents life-cycle and validation process.


D2 workflows are based on Documentum workflow standards and fully configurable. Customize your workflows by simply mouse clicks!

A graphical workflow editor allows users to find out the task currently being processed on the document, as well as the previous and the next one, in the list.
