One VD, several publishing formats

P2 offers the benefit of associating one or several full publishing configurations to a virtual document (VD), without modifying it. It is therefore, possible to manage publications in different formats, simultaneously, for the same VD, without content being duplicated.

Create easily your publications

Creating a publication is facilitated by the simplified entering of the publication general properties (general or volume-specific table of contents, cover pages, layers applied generally...).

The use of dictionaries allows a single configuration to be carried out that is then, valid in a multilingual environment. Notes added into documents during publication are automatically translated.

 

Make evolved your publishing profiles

Publication properties can then, be freely refined, on each document, using the publication editor.

 

View your publishing configurations

This editor allows to simply view the configuration (table of contents, paper components, volumes, layers, etc.). It gives a direct preview of the publication's final structure, in which the various components appear where they will be used.

The publication editor allows the user to toggle between paper and electronic modes at any time in one single click. Publication properties that are not relevant in these modes are then hidden.

 

Various properties dialogs allow all settings to be defined intuitively, for example the position of a layer, or the precise size of a volume.

A powerful volumization feature

P2 offers a powerful volumizing function, allowing desired result to be obtained, whilst limiting the number of times the user must intervene.

The automatic volumization feature allows volumes to be directly generated. They may be adjusted depending on various options or separators, inserted manually.
